Purchase Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill

I recently purchased a Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill. It was delivered partially assembled, no surprise there, but, when I unpacked it and went to move the very heavy base assembly to my exercise room I ran into trouble. The treadmill supposedly could be folded and then tilted and rolled on a set of wheels provided for that purpose. Sounds rather simple but I discovered that mine would not fold. Pressing the release bar did not release the catch. I carefully reviewed the manual and found that the treadmill had to be reset to the zero degree elevation point before it could be folded. In looking at the unpacked but as yet unassembled treadmill, I concluded that it came set for zero degrees of elevation. After several unsuccessful attempts to fold it I decide to call Bowflex. They advised that before the treadmill could be folded, a calibration had to be run. This calibration is described in the manual but nowhere does it mention that one must run a calibration cycle before the treadmill can be folded. After moving the various parts to my exercise room and assembling the treadmill I ran a calibration cycle. And, sure enough, I could then successfully fold and unfold the treadmill.
The assembly instructions were quite clear and made the assembly job relatively uneventful. Other than the above little problem, I have been very satisfied with the performance. It is very smooth and quiet, the elevation feature works well and there are a significant number of preprogrammed speed and elevation cycles available to provide a wide variety of workouts.Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.

I got my treadmill about a month ago shipping was on time actually a few days earlier then scheduled arrival. The product is great. I bought it for myself but now I am finding I have to block of time as my husband is making good use of it also. I set up a tv in my basemnet and I hop on and go while watching my favorite shows. The only thing that does not work great is the heart rate monitor, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. Over all the quality is great the long length is nice and it is not very noisy. I use the programs and it is smooth to run or walk on. Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.

Where To Buy Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill

My husband and I purchased 2 treadmills about 6 weeks ago, as we both tend to work out at the same time. This is a fantastic treadmill for both of us, different sizes and different weights. A heavy-duty treadmill that will rival many of the more expensive treadmills found at gyms.
The boxes were heavy, but the two of us could move a box easily. Assembly took some time, about 30 mintues per treadmill, but accomplished without trouble.
Both treadmills have seen heavy usage...running about 5 miles, 5 times a week, and are performing wonderfully. The fan is a great idea, but the air movement isn't all that strong...but I haven't found a treadmill with a great fan, so it's not a big issue.
An easy to read display and good mix of programs makes sure you never get bored.

The Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill is a very sturdy machine with a walking/running platform which is nice and wide. It is also surprisingly quiet. It has a good range of programs that are easy to use and personalize. The heart monitor that is incorporated with the machine is comfortable to wear and does not require your hand(s) actually be gripping the machine. I was surprised that a machine made for home use would have the quality that this one has. It is very comparable to treadmills that I have found in commercial gyms. It was also very easy to setup and assemble.Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.

Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill

My family has been using the treadmill for nearly 2 weeks and we have been very pleased so far. It is heavy however, after folding it up it can easiy be moved around within the room we have place it in. It would have to be disassembled to move it to another room and you would need two strong people to do it. The belt can be re-aligned and tightened very easy using the tools and instructions provided. The heart rate hand grips do not work very well but the chest monitor and heart rate display on the console have been flawless. I am nearly 270lbs and the machine is sturdy enough for me to run on with no problem although most of my time has been spent walking at a fast pace and using the incline. It is very quiet in operation. So far so good.

Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill Review

I read many of the great reviews about this product before purchasing it. It worked well for the 1st month and then electronics failed. Now these things do happen even to good products. The replacement of the parts is covered under the warrenty.
The problem is very bad customer service from the Manufacture - Nautilus. After repeated calls and 3 botched handings of our service request we still haven't got the thing fixed.
If this thing didn't weigh hundreds of pounds I would have returned it. Next time I purchase equipment like this will be via a local dealer who can service the equipment themselves. Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.

Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill Top Quality

We are very happy with our treadmill. It was heavy upon arrival, had to just lay it down and rip it open & take it piece by piece into the room for assembly. Because of its size & weight, the delivery guys can only get it into the door. The fan doesn't make much of a difference. That space could have been better utilized with another function. The deck has a bit of a squeek when you're running. But overall, it's a great piece of equipment. It gets used nearly everyday in our house. Even our teenager has used it a couple of times. Now 2 months later, the locking mechanism that keeps it in place when the deck is folded up is broke. We'll see how their customer service measures up as we try getting it fixed.Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.

All in all a well built machine, but the cup holders are angled funny and my water bottle doesn't fit very well and can't be totally full (of course I have a 34oz water bottle). It has been a beaten up topic but the treadmill is HEAVY and they also only sent one person to deliver the product; I would hate to have to carry this up or down stairs. Also when assembling it had two right pieces instead of a left and right, but I called the company and had the right part in a very short time (the part did not hinder use of the treadmill).Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.

Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill Get it now!

My brothers assembled this for me out of the box in less than an hour. They said that assembly was a breeze and that it was made of quality material. All I know is that it's fantastic and it's helping me lose weight. I use it for walking with the incline. It's smooth and fairly quiet. I bought it because of the other positive reviews and am so glad I did. I also bought a DVD player and the biggest TV I could afford and placed them right in front of the treadmill. Watching movies while strenuously walking really helps pass the time.
UPDATE: I've owned the treadmill for almost 1 year now. It's still in perfect condition. I lost 15 pounds while walking on it. If I had to buy a treadmill again, I would buy this one.Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.

This machine is VERY nice. It's a good buy for the money. It has a very competetive warrantee and good workmanship. The 3 h.p. motor, and many other features included are only available on much higher priced models. I own a Bowflex extreme 2 home gym and am impressed with its quality welding and solid construction. The treadmill is the same. Oh, it's very quiet to use. That's important. Folds and rolls easily although it is heavy (250 lb.s), so I wouldnt think its really practical to think of unfolding and dragging it around for every use. The large running surface has good running or walking feel and folds toward the monitor. So, if it faces a wall, then folding saves space without moving it on every use.
Overall, I am VERY happy.Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.

Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill Right now

It's heavy duty and has lots of options. I highly recommend it. My husband put it together by himself easily even though the directions say you need two people. The folding option is great if you have kids and don't want them to climb on it. I have just two minor complaints - the fan is weak/not adjustable and the handle heart rate monitor does not work very well. But the chest band that checks your heart rate works fine.
Update - It's been over a year and and a couple days since we purchased our treadmill and we are still very happy. Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.
Lowest Price Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill

I received my Bowflex 7 Series in two weeks, which was on the early end of the 10 day window. The box was beat to shreds. I was really surprised that the treadmill only suffered small scratches between the "incline" and "speed" displays. I was amazed that the treadmill even worked. I'm watching for possible future problems that may be a result of the extremely destructive delivery process. For instance, sometimes when I start it up, an odd chirping (like a bird) sound comes from under the motor cover. It eventually goes away as I walk.
The treadmill itself is a fine piece of mechanical engineering. I love working out on it (I'm a walker, not a jogger), BUT WATCH OUT FOR THE STATIC ELECTRICITY SHOCKS. The shocks are driving me crazy. I put a treadmill mat under it but the static keeps on shocking the daylights out of me. I called Nautilus about the problem. They suggested a mat (which I have) or spraying the track with a Downy Fabric Softener/water solution (one part/ten parts, respectively). My concern with the solution is Downy is slippery and water evaporates, so when the water dries up I'm left with a slippery Downy track. If I slip and break my knee cap, who's going to pay the medical bills...Nautilus??? So far I'm putting up with the shocks, looking for a static strap to ground myself, and wondering how long I can endure. The only reason I rate this fine machine a 3-star is because of the annoying, agonizing shocks. I've been on treadmills in gyms all over the world (Air Force), even had one in the exact place where my Bowflex now stands, and I've never been shocked by static electricity while exercising. Bowflex/Nautilus ought to fix this, ASAP.

Low Price Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill

Works as advertised. Heavy, industrial strength. At around 300 pounds, had to dis-assemble the box before moving individual components to the second floor. Need at least two people to move the shipping box from home entry to workout area in the home. Using it everyday. Easy to fold up and down. Easy to program and use. Nice safety cord feature will stop the treadmill. Heart beat sensor in hand rails does not work consistently. Heart beat monitor chest strap works great. Some assembly required, but not too difficult. On board three speed fan is a nice touch. The treadmill runs relatively quiet in relation to running on it. We love it!Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.

Discount Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill

The treadmill is high quality and runs fine, although it is a bit on the loud side when running on it. The features and settings were exactly what we were looking for.
However, be warned about the free shipping. Amazon contracts local shipping companies to deliver the product. I thought everything was going to be good when the shipping company called me to set up a delivery window.
But, when they arrived, they laughed when I said that I cleared the way down the steps to the back basement entrance where the treadmill would be placed. The main delivery guy said "Man what are you trying to do, break my back?" He then proceeded to tell me that the delivery was for "threshold delivery" and that meant that they would carry it to the threshold of the front door. He then said that if I wanted it brought somewhere else, I needed to pay extra and make those arrangements ahead of time.
It got a little ugly at that point and told them that their delivery slip said nothing about which threshold to bring it to. So I gave them the choice of bringing it to the threshold of my back door or loading it back up on the truck. They reluctantly agreed to bring it to the back door.
After they left, I realized how heavy this thing really is. I estimated over 300 lbs. It took all I could muster to get the box over the sliding door track and inside the house. Even if you broke down the box and carried the pieces in one by one, the treadmill/motor portion of the device is all one piece and is easily 200 lbs. The only other pieces are the console and support arms which weigh very little by themselves.
I ended up straining my back in the process of bringing it in. I am most angry at Amazon for not making it clear that the delivery was only to the door, not inside. Also, Amazon did not offer any other shipping options at the time of the order.
I will definitely think twice about ordering a large item from Amazon again.Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.

I was reluctant to spend the money on this treadmill at first. However, after reading independent professional reviews on treadmills I decided to try it. I'm glad I did. I have no complaints about this treadmill in terms of it's functionality and appearance. It works wonderfully. It feels sturdy. I can run on it b/c it has plenty of room. I keep it folded up when not in use - so it really doesn't take up an enormous amount of space (it is big though, don't get me wrong). The only thing to keep in mind is that it's HEAVY. It really does require two people to get it in your home and set it up.Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.

Buying Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill

Needed a treadmill and saw this was top-rated in Consumer Reports. Though it's pricey, I'm tall and big and saw this could handle my size and stride. I've never had a treadmill and knew some baby model wouldn't do the job. BOWFLEX has one of those pricey but good quality names, I thought...much like BOSE for sound systems. They both are B's also!
It was a snowy Friday in Wolfeboro NH when it was to arrive only a week from ordering and EAGLE USA delivering it. Was going to order from one of those sports outlets but look at the delivery reviews....they are terrible! So I flew with the EAGLE! Called them to make sure it was going to arrive during the big snowstorm storm that day in the 12-5pm slot...they said it may be a bit late and even called to say it would be there at 5:30PM and we all waited for it longingly looking out the picture window Yes, they arrived at 5:30pm and manhandled the truck into the driveway backwards to my open garage while his sidekick surfed on the loading lift of the truck ....almost falling off. I slipped them a $20 - he barked 'Give it to the kid' so they would deliver it over the 'threshhold' into my basement which they did.
I went up to watch tv and my wife had it assembled in 2 hours without me....she said it would have taken longer had I been there helping. I did help actually with one piece fitting it in a bit.....not sure why it was a bit tight but we got it together.
This thing is a monster as it weighs....well, close to my weight. It is not junk as it feels top flight and looks it! I don't plan to move it at all. Use it every day now and already can feel and see the difference after 2 months!! The programs are a but much for me so far so I just set lift and speed as I need to in the 20 minute general program. Eventually, I hope to use the programs as there are a lot of them. I like how it tells you miles and calories burned. I like to watch the display changing...........beats watching an EKG in a hospital bed!
The fan at highest setting is too weak for me and you can't aim the direction so only benefits me much, as I'm tall, if I'm slumped over gasping for air.....which is a lot of the time.
If I could get the heart monitor around me (my wife says 'Don't even try'), I would use it. Maybe in a few more months.
Well, this is a great unit especially here in central NH where 8 months of the year are inhospitable unless you're Yukon 'Cornelius' Jack! Don't know why I'm up here, but I know I'll live long with my BOWFLEX SERIES 7.

Actually, the treadmill should be 4 1/2 stars only because the fan is so useless. It's too bad it's even there taking up space. You can't adjust the direction and unless you are 6 1/2 feet tall, you'd never feel the air.I'm 5'3" and it doesn't even blow near my face. The construction of the treadmill is awesome.Very heavy duty and solid. I love it.
Shipping was a disaster.I had free shipping and the company that brought it was by far the worst company I ever dealt with. There was no delivery window. The first time they called I was out of town. It was two weeks before the projected delivery date I got from Amazon! I called back and they don't return calls.I left three messages to please call me to reschedule but they didn't call me. They called the next week in the evening and said they were coming at 8 the next morning. I called them back and they actually answered the phone this time.I said I need some notice to take the day off work. Couldn't you have called me a day ahead? they said they did (but they really didn't).The guy actually called me a liar and insisted they called earlier. I said I have the message on my cell phone and it was 5:30 pm tonight. Also told me they tried to deliver it the week before and didn't care that I was out of town. I told him if I had been given a delivery window, perhaps I could have planned to be home? He again said he didn't care and if I didn't take off of work tomorrow he'd send it back to Amazon. He was the most rude and insulting person I ever dealt with. I kept telling him his company needs to give a delivery window and he said no he didn't need to and that I didn't understand "freight" delivery. I told him he ought to understand people need to have a notice to take off work! I finally asked if they'd leave it at my front door while I was at work since I couldn't take off without a notice and it was too late to ask for the day off since they called me after I left work to say it was on it's way next morning. He also blammed me for living way out in Burlington, WI since his company is in Milwaukee. I said too bad Amazon doesn't contact a company in Lake Geneva or Burlington, someone who knows the area. He again said he didn't care and that I was LUCKY he was even coming to Burlington. Lucky? wait a minute, I'm the customer, I said and you ought to treat me a little decently and quit talking to me so rudely. He again said he didn't care and that I'm a liar any how. Unreal. Good luck with the delivery companies Amazon uses. Too bad no one cares how you're treated after you place the order and have to deal with the delivery company.Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.

Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill Review

We've all heard the old Lakota Indian quote, "let me never judge another until I have walked 1000 miles in his moccasins." Well, I didn't want to judge this product until I had run 100 miles on its treads. Now that I've completed 100+ miles I can provide a review.
I've seen a lot of complaints about delivery. None here. Eagle put it right where we asked. I was at work when it was delivered but my wife asked them to bring it around the back of the house, down the steps into the basement and into it's permanent location. And that's what the delivery guys did. No problem.
Assembly was a breeze. I put it together in under an hour with my two young kids running around jumping on the box and asking questions the entire time. If you can follow simple instructions you can do this.
I wouldn't call it a space-saver since it takes a lot of space even when it's folded, but it's a big treadmill. What do you expect? It is maneuverable though. Lock it in the upright position, lean it back on its wheels and away you go.
This is a great product. The cushioned platform means my knees and feet do NOT hurt after running. If I run outside I'm in pain for at least the next day.
It runs quietly (although I do NOT).
The soft-landing feature when you lower it is a very nice touch.
The multiple running programs are great. I've used a few of them but for now I've settled on the run/walk program. A few minutes of running, half those minutes of walking, more running, more walking, etc.. When my heart rate gets down to where I want it during the walk phase, I like that I can override the speed setting and crank it back up to my running pace. So, you don't have to walk three full minutes after you've just run for six. If you're ready to hit it after one minute of walking you can.
I've used the incline a couple times. It works perfectly, but right now I'm focusing on getting my endurance where I want it to be. For me that means no incline, just 60 minutes of running and increasing the pace until I can start hitting my mileage goal consistently.
The heart rate handles are useless. I'm not sure if it's possible to make them work correctly but what's the point? You shouldn't be reaching out and grabbing those anyway. Why break your pace? The Polar heart monitor that comes with the treadmill is all you need. In fact, you shouldn't run without it. It's been interesting to see how, as I steadily increase my running distance, my heart has grown stronger. This is measurable with the output provided by the heart monitor. Amazing.
Everyone complains about the fan. Yep, I'll confirm that. The fan is weak. It might as well not be there. But, I didn't buy this thing for the fan. If it can generate any breeze at all, that's just a bonus.
Consider me one very satisfied customer. Also consider me a healthier customer than I was before I began using this fine piece of equipment.Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.

After reading many reviews on the site about the treadmill, but still deciding to buy it, I ended up with one that has two of the problem areas. Getting constantly shocked even though it is on a rubber mat and the incline motor needing to be replaced on the second day of using it. The reviews are right, the fan is a joke the machine is huge and heavy. Bowflex has been very helpful though. I hope these minor irritating items work themselve out somehow. This is a well built machine. The motor is quiet and there are plenty of workout programs to chose from. I researched before buying and Consumer Reports rated this treadmill one of their Best Buys. I had a cheaper treadmill prior to this one and by far this is a much more excellent product. Although it is somewhat expensive you must spend this type of money to get a quality product otherwise you will continue to buy treadmills that have short life spans. I cannot rate the customer service issue as I have not yet had a need for that. I registered the product on line and the warranty is a good one.Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.

Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill Best Quality

I have never written a review for any product, ever, but here is my first attempt.
About 18 years ago, I bought my wife an el-cheapo treadmill from Montgomery Wards for around $500, thinking that she would probably use it for a couple of months and then it would gather dust and eventually be donated to Goodwill. To my astonishment, she ran on that thing for at least an hour, 3 to 5 days a week right up until last month when the deck finally fell apart and the belt began to shred. If I could have simply bought that treadmill again, I would have, but since that wasn't possible, I decided at least to get my wife a higher-end treadmill to replace it.
The first challenge was to narrow down my choices. Since Consumer Reports and the Treadmill Doctor website both rated this model highly, I was torn between it and models from Sole and Bodyguard, but a quick internet search revealed a (since ended) Amazon "secret sale" on the Bowflex models that lopped hundreds of dollars off the final price of the Bowflex, so that clinched my decision to get the Series 7.
A few days after I ordered it, the Eagle truck backed into my driveway, and a nice old (60+) guy began wrestling to get the huge, heavy box off the truck. He refused to let me help, and eventually got it tipped off the truck and onto a dolly without killing himself, or losing control of it. I didn't want him to risk injury trying to get it up my 2 porch steps and over my threshold though, so I just let him wheel it 10 feet into my garage and we eased it to the floor there.
The box was pristine, as was the treadmill itself, and it only took 4 guys to haul the deck down my curving stairway and into a basement bedroom.
I assembled the unit alone, using the supplied tools and two of my own phillips screw drivers. It was easy to do, and only took about an hour and a half.
The assembly instructions are beautifully illustrated and well-written, so you shouldn't have much trouble getting it together.
Once I got it assembled and plugged in, I tested it out a little, and everything seemed to work fine. Until I tried to use the INCLINE feature.
While it APPEARED to be working well according to the output on the display, the deck stayed flat. Why? Because, although it is not clearly stated in the owner's manual, you MUST do the calibration sequence on page 28 before the incline feature (and who knows what else) will actually work. Fortunately it is an easy procedure, and only takes a minute to do. Another thing the manual should state but doesn't is that you should NEVER use WD-40 to lubricate your belt. According to Nautilus, this is something a lot of people do, and any consequential damage will NOT be covered by your warranty.
The Series 7 is easy to operate, FAR quieter than our old treadmill, and was a bargain at the price we paid.Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.

Setup was straightforward, took between 30-45 minutes (tools provided), and after plugging it in, the Series 7 treadmill was ready to roll. I found everything worked well and it is definitely a solid machine, as advertised. The only problem I encountered was getting the cardiac programs to work. In commercial machines, you simply input your age, weight, etc., and the treadmill starts up, then sets the workload based on the cardiac range that was preset for you, based on age, weight, etc. In other words, as you start the treadmill, it will increase/decrease your workload to maintain that ideal cardiac range workout. Well, with the Series 7, it was not quite that easy, but it does seem to work. After calling the friendly customer service, I was instructed to use one of the 4-5 cardiac programs, and it did work similarly, however, you must FIRST get your heartbeat up to the recommended range, (i.e., the treadmill won't increase the workload to increase your heartbeat, you must do that manually). Once you've exercised to the point that your heartbeat is within the correct range, the treadmill will at that point endeavor to keep it within that range. I did not try the other cardiac programs, just the one customer service recommended, so they apparently work the same way. Somewhat of a minor inconvenience, which is the only reason I gave it the 4 star rating. As always, I had absolutely no problems ordering thru Amazon - thanks.
Upon delivery, the cardboard box had a 12 x 12 inch hole in it; annoying but nothing was damaged inside. The delivery company did the job without complaints (I did request the delivery guy to take the treadmill INTO my house (15 feet past entry door, which was my living room; versus leaving it on the porch). It is only a one-story ranch home, but that still saved me a ton of work - remember, it weighs 300lbs. I advise ordering at least a 6-7 foot matt to place below the treadmill, especially if you have carpet (to keep fibers/debris from entering the treadmill).
After several weeks of daily use by three members of my family, I can say the Series 7 still feels like a solid well-made treadmill. It was a bit pricier than some other treadmills with similar features, but I have no regrets and I am glad I chose the Bowflex Series 7. Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.

Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill Buy Now

We purchased this treadmill because it was highly rated by consumer reports. Compared to commercial grade treadmills, it was a real bargain too. We have been using the treadmill a couple of weeks now and love it. It is very quiet and sturdy. Walking on this treadmill is very smooth. I will recommend, as did another reviewer, that you put this treadmill together where you will be using it. It is VERY heavy. Prior to this treadmill we had a cheaper one and there is just no comparison. The Bowflex treadmill is great.Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.

The treadmill price was nice through Amazon, but not paying shipping charges (on an over-sized package weighing 200+ pounds...$$$cha-ching$$$) was much, much better! Thank you, Amazon! The treadmill arrived 1 week earlier than estimated, which may have been a problem for some people, but not for me. The HUGE package was delivered right into the room of my house where I wanted it. Based on the reviews of some of the other people, I figured that I could assemble the treadmill alone, and I did (keep in mind, that I am a 130 pound, out-of-shape, 42 year old woman with 2 small children). The treadmill works exactly was I expected it to work...quite nicely. Unfortunately, the small cooling fan also works as expected...not very effectively, and I had to purchase a larger floor fan for cooling. All in all a good piece of exercise equipment for the price. I am glad I bought it through Amazon.Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.

This is the one to get.
PROs: Great for the price. Gym quality at least. Setup is very simple. Good size track. 10 Degrees MAX incline & 12mph Max speed. Good sturdy construction. Easy to use controls.
CONS: Large poor output fan in middle of console. A little heavy to move around. It is foldable but i never have. TRy to get the delivery guys to put it where you finally want it. Otherwise get some help with it.

Lowest Price Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill

I did a significant research before I purchased this product including user reivews at Amazon and some other places.
Pros:
1. Sturdiness (It does the job without any loose or flimsy parts)
2. Size (This can be negative thing if you have small space although the treadmill can be folded. It is bigger than most other treadmills)
3. It covers large range of speed and incline for home use. You probably will not need faster or more inclining capability unless you are professionally training.
Cons:
1. Very heavy to handle before assembly. Personally it is not a big deal since it is one time issue. You can move it pretty easily after assembly.
2. Fan is weak and has factory plastic chemical scent (At least first few months). Don't expect the fan to do much.
Overall, I like the machine. It has little steeper price tag than some of other brand models, but you get what you pay for, a great product. I have used it for a few months now. I have no complaint since the initial assembly. If you are buying a treadmill for home use, I believe that this product has the best value/price ratio.Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.
Low Price Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill

I bought this based on the review in Consumer Reports and reviews here and elsewhere. I received the treadmill promptly via ground transportation from Amazon. The box was not damaged, save for a poke on the bottom, which did not harm anything. Because we had to move things from room to room and paint to make a place for the treadmill, it sat in our front hall for 3 months. I was worried that it might not run out of the box as some have said. My son and I rolled it into the back bedroom on its side on a piano dolly (it weighs 300 lbs!) I was able to set it up by myself in just 2 hours and it ran the first time.
Pros: It is VERY solid, whisper quiet, the belt is plenty wide and has a great warranty. Smooth operation to start and stop. Elevation is smooth (to 12 %) and speed to 9 mph. It feels good to use it. I would definitely buy this again from Amazon.
Cons: The fan might as well not be there as others have said (maybe needs a cowling to direct air to you and a bigger motor?). The Owner's Manual is not very clear in describing what the programs do or in how to use all 15 of them. The controls are clear, but not intuitive and are not lit if you like to walk or run in the dark in the AM. Only the readouts are lit. (Beware in Assembly Step #3 on page 10 that the assembly hardware to attach the console to the uprights should point out that the 6 Allen Screws to be used here are the only 6 BLACK Allen Screws, not the silver ones you have been using all along. I had to disassemble the handrail and reassemble when I got to step #5. Still only took 2 hours...)
These were very minor issues to me.

Save Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill

The Bowflex Series 7 treadmill is the first home treadmill we have owned. It is just as sturdy as the ones you will encounter in the gym. The ONLY gripe we have is the the fan is WORTHLESS. Bowflex should just leave it off altogether, or make it powerful. We bought a clip-on Vornado fan, that kicks butt in power...HOWEVER, we could find no place to clip it on the treadmill, and instead opted for a bookshelf nearby. That fan is powerful and we highly recommend you buy it with the treadmill. It is the Vornado 540B V-clip Black - just make sure you have something strong close by for mounting it (just a clip!). The treadmill folds up very tightly, taking up a small amount of room in our small living area, although you do need the length to open it all the way up. The incline goes all the way up to 12%, and is more than enough. It is quiet, and we can still watch TV while on it. The pounding of our feet is the loudest part. For $1,399 it is a good deal. It is very heavy, and DO NOT expect to roll it around each time you want to use it.Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.
Discount Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill

Fought between buying this versus the Sole treadmill. In the end comparing the ratings for individual components on Treadmill Doctor noticed they thought the treadmill was better in every aspect except the warranty. I'll take a better built, better quality, better motor, better running area treadmill any day over a better warranty and price. Price has been dropped by $500 ($600 with gift certificate) and I think the Bowflex warranty is decent anyway.
After receiving it my initial thoughts were.. this thing is HUGE. I know some reviewers said they received 2 packages but I received just one gigantic package. Two people from Eagle did an awesome job delivering it to my 5th floor apartment (elevator).
Positives: Extremely quiet, feels very sturdy, looks great and awesome value vs. other treadmills in the same price range
Negatives: Poor documentation - for example there's a bottle of Lube but it doesn't say anything at all about how to use it, very heavy and almost impossible to move around

Cheapest Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill

First, guess I lucked out on shipping...my treadmill arrived within two weeks. The delivery guy was great, though, thankfully I didn't need the machine to go farther than my small living room.
As for set up, I was grateful to have the assistance of a friend. It's easy to put together, but trying to do it alone (gosh--I'm impressed by those who did) would be insane (I love the fact that it even talks about a second person in the assembly instructions).
Treadmill starting: okay, I'd definitely have to point out that to calibrate the treadmill to start pushing on the enter button (keep holding it down) and then start pushing the power button for the time they specify in the instructions (I personally didn't think this was all too clear).
Fan: I'm 5'6" and the fan is almost perfect, I do have to run close to the front, but it does blow wind into my face and keeps me a bit cooler than with no fan at all.
Noise: Absolutely NO complaints...it's quite quiet and I'm loving it. I don't have to turn the TV up so loud and I agree that I'm probably louder than the machine after running for a bit, but even walking on it...still very smooth and quiet.
Overall: I'm really enjoying the treadmill. I think the only thing that I'm not thrilled about (and maybe I just haven't figured it out) is that one can't increase the time after it's been set. Sometimes I feel like I can do more, but haven't been able to push the right buttons to get the time to extend (I don't want to have to stop and start up again...I just want to keep on going).
Loving it!!! Amazon had a fantastic deal, and if you get their Credit Card, you'll get more back. Plus free shipping, which is normally $179, gosh it's a real hard deal to beat; I bought it on Amazon when it was actually priced lower than from factory direct. So far--totally satisfied with my purchase.Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.
Cheap Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill

thank you to all who reviewed as I purchased based on what others said about it. Eagle USA was excellent in delivering this bad boy. The Treadmill is huge and the 2 delivery guys did a great job - you have to call them to set up a time and day for delivery - they took it through the garage and into a back room for me.
We use it everymorning - sometimes in evening - you really get a good workout - start sweating about 20 minutes into it. Fan does work and is useful. the keyboard not the best but does the job. I'm 6'2" 220 lbs and it fits perfect for me. has a good key pin pullout in case you fall off or need to stop it right away - you clip it onto your shorts for protection as when you are into the exercise about 45 minutes you can get tired.
The pulse function on the handle takes a little while to work and the readouts are sometimes hard to read but overall this is a worthwhile investment in your health and that cannot be measured in dollars - for those with busy schedules and not a lot of time to go out to a gym or run around the neighborhood - this is perfect, plus I watch DVDs or TV or Football games while I workout - might as well kill 2 birds with one stone.
Awesome product - my advice is to make sure you clip on the emergency pin to your waist for safety.Get more detail about Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill.

Buying Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill

I love my treadmill. I ordered it oct 2, was delivered oct 10. To reiterate previous posts, this baby is BIG-box brushed against my 8 foot ceilings when the delivery men were wheeling it in. I don't have stairs, so I could just push it where it needed to go. The box had a few holes, but nothing hurt inside. The manual labels and the parts packet labels did not match up for a few things, but was easy enough to figure out what fit and what didn't. The manual also showed six bolt holes on the arm, but there were only four. I did not have to calibrate my machine before using the elevation function. All leads me to believe they may have changed a few things in the last year. Took about an hour, start to finish, to get it put together. Very easy, and yes, it can be done by one person (in this case a 5'4" 32 year old woman, completely out of shape;~).
The instructions tell you to lubricate every 250 miles, but no indication of where or how to lubricate. Also written instructions for how to adjust the belt, but no pic. I still can't find where to put the hex wrench to adjust. Luckily, the belt is perfect right now, but I know they stretch with use.
Other than that, this is a great machine. INCREDIBLY quiet, if that is important to you. Very stable. The deck is super easy to raise and lower. I love the magnetic safety disc-won't work unless the disc is in place, so even if my three year turns the machine on, she is not going to get caught in anything or shot off the back.
I got my mat at Wally World for $20. Fits fine.

Here is the response I received from Bowflex for lubricating the machine:
Thank you for contacting Nautilus Customer Care. This machine is
equipped with a pre-lubricated deck and belt system. The deck and belt
friction may affect the function and life of your machine; we recommend
periodic lubrication. We also recommend a periodic inspection of the deck
surface and under the walking belt. To lubricate the belt turn it off and
unplug the machine from the wall outlet, also remove the power cord.
Gently lift each side of the machine's belt and apply a small amount of
the silicone based lubricant directly onto each belt while they are
warm (not hot). Plug the fitness machine back into the machine base and
then into wall outlet. Stand to the side of your machine and not on the
belts themselves. Turn on your machine, and start the belts at the
slowest speed. Let the belts run for approximately 15 seconds. Turn off your
fitness machine. And repeat all steps again. Then take care to wipe up
any excess silicone lubricant from the deck surface area. We recommend
that you only use Silicone Spray, available at most Hardware and Auto
Parts stores. If you decide to purchase this lubricant at an Auto Parts
store, Napa Auto parts has a brand called NAPA 8300 that will work
very well. If you have any further questions or concerns regarding the
lubrication of your belts please contact us at 1-800-782-4799. Thank you
again and have a wonderful day.

Almost everything about this treadmill is outstanding. The build is solid. The assembly is easy with clear instructions and parts that fit cleanly together.
The only complaint I have about the treadmill is the console (deduct 1 star). For the money spent, I would have wanted a better interface and separate read outs. The scrolling text is very difficult to read. Also the COOL DOWN button serving multiple purposes is a poor design and has led to disrupting numerous workouts. Finally, the numbered routines don't have a legend or labeling to them. You have to refer to the manual to know what routine #8 is about, for example. Otherwise, it is a perfect machine that will last for years.
As others have pointed out. Be sure to measure your ceiling height, especially in basement settings. I'm 5'11 and my basement at 7'0 provides just barely enough head clearance for running. I'm not able to use the incline in my basement location due to clearance.
For delivery... I had it delivered to the garage. I had to take the platform out of the box to move, as that was the only way to clear the doorway. It also reduced a little of the weight. The platform itself is still VERY heavy.
I deduct one star because of the console. Otherwise, I would have easily given the treadmill five stars.

Purchase Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill

Product has performed as expected.
We had to call Nautilus and get a replacement part for a crossbar that was manufacured incorrectly. It came in several days and was installed without problems.
Delivery of the treadmill was uneventful. They even brought the large box into the house where we built it and are now using it. As it was a heavy box, this was greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I'm a fairly avid runner and have used several kinds of treadmills -- this one is really good for at home use. It was easy to assemble and seems to be really stable. The display is quite basic, but that has been okay by me who doesn't need a lot of do-dads to play with or watch as I run.
We did encounter one issue which was resolved immediately by the manufacturer. The right side of the speed display was not lighting up upon assembly - everything else worked great. We called the manufacturer who sent us a replacement piece within days. Best case is that they would have sent someone to do the install of the piece, but I was okay with how they resolved it.
If you're thinking of spending $1000's more for the really high end machine, just know that the incremental difference is fairly minimal in my opinion. Again, this seems to be a solid performing piece of home gym equipment. I hope that this posting was as helpful as so many other ones were to me as I was deciding which treadmill to purchase.
